LITTLE RED CABOOSES! Get the opportunity to go inside the Museum of Arts and Sciences’ Seaboard Caboose, and learn all about trains in the process!

In celebration of the restored caboose outside the museum, local railroad historian Ralph Hawkins will offer a 30-minute multimedia presentation on the history of railroad cabooses from 12:15-12:45 PM.  What were they for?  Why were most red?  Why did they disappear?  Where are they now?  Ralph and his daughter Ella run a large railroad website at www.hawkinsrails.net.

The caboose will be open from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, May 21st. Caboose viewing and activities are included with admission.
