Join us tonight for Night with the Arts and our 70 Join us tonight for Night with the Arts and our 70th anniversary celebration! Tickets available for purchase with the link in our bio. Here’s everything planned for the evening:

70 Year Scavenger Hunt – Search for specific items in the 70th anniversary collection from questions available at the entrance to Georgia’s Gallery. All those who submit correct answers at the front desk will win a small prize!

Erupture Completion – The installation of the final Wonderspaces exhibition should finish during the evening. Peek into the Burgess Gallery for a preview of the exhibit.

In Full Bloom – This exhibition opened this week in the Elam Alexander Hall and features creations from community members of Creative Pathways.

70 Years of Memories – Enjoy looking through publications, photos, and other memorabilia from the museum’s history, located to the right of the Discovery House’s entrance.

Fractal Friday Preview – Walk through the planetarium to experience a fractal pattern animation. Shows featuring full-dome fractal art begin in May.

Animal Encounters – Keepers from the Mini-Zoo will be in the lobby from 7 – 8 p.m. with some of our most exotic creatures.

Arias in the Art – Top off the evening by listening to the museum’s multitalented STEAM Curator sing a selection of beautiful arias in the 70th anniversary exhibit at 8, 8:20 & 8:40 p.m.
We had a great turnout with over 100 people at Sky We had a great turnout with over 100 people at Sky Over Macon last Friday! If you missed it, be sure to come out tomorrow morning for the Total Lunar Eclipse happening at 5 AM. If you can’t make it, the next Sky Over Macon will be happening March 20th from 6-9 PM!
You don’t want to miss our Plants and Pollinator You don’t want to miss our Plants and Pollinators day happening on March 14th from 10 AM - 4 PM! Enjoy an educational and interactive day all about plants and pollination, with special guests, activities, shows and SO much that you will NOT want to miss!!
Sky Over Macon online ticket sales will cut off at Sky Over Macon online ticket sales will cut off at 4 PM today! After the cutoff, tickets will only be available for purchase tonight at the door before the event. 

This event is rain or shine! Weather is unpredictable and can surprise us! In the event of rain, the entire museum (except the Mini-Zoo) will still be open and we will still have a custom Planetarium show of the current night sky! Doors will open at 6 PM. Doors to the Planetarium will close at 6:30, and there is NO late seating. We look forward to seeing you!

Please note our Gyroscope is in the process of being moved, and will not be open tonight for the event.
