Anime Manga Art Class

This short three-day anime art course consists of 6 specialized lessons. During the class, we will focus on methods and skills to help students learn how to draw anime and manga style art. Also, the course will focus on assisting students to find their style and methods within the art form. Each lesson will have a specific topic and activity for students to complete and take home with them. These lessons aim to not only teach them about how to draw anime style art but also to give them tips and tricks to help them with their self-teaching beyond the classroom.
This three-day class will be held on June 18, 20, and 22nd from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Class fee includes all three days.
Attendees will be taught by the Museums’ talented staff member, Lauren Turner. She is a Wesleyan graduate with a degree in Studio Art.
Age Requirements: Rising 6th – 12th graders
$50/Museum Members; $60/Non-Members. Payments must be made before the class to reserve your seat. This class is non-refundable due to limited seating and materials supplied.
What to bring: Just yourself. The Museum will supply all materials.
