Mars VIP Rooftop Viewing

Join the Museum of Arts and Sciences for a special viewing of the planet Mars
from the rooftop of the Mark Smith Planetarium.
Mars viewings from the planetarium rooftop will be offered every half hour beginning at 10:00pm and ending at 11:30pm (weather permitting). Choose your tickets according to the time you would like to come: 10pm, 10:30pm, 11pm, or 11:30pm. Then, come out a few minuets early and join us on the pavilion. We will have snacks and beverages for purchase while you wait.
There will also be opportunities to view Saturn and Jupiter from the parking lot and Observatory. This event is not handicapped or stroller accessible. School-aged children are welcome with a purchased ticket. We do not recommend any child under the age of 5.
Tickets do not include inside access to the Museum or the “Sky Over Macon” show. If the weather is bad, a refund will be issued back to your card. Refunds will not be issued at the front desk unless you purchased your ticket there.
