Through this six-session class, students will explore the world of force and motion. Classes will begin on September 27 and will be held on each Tuesday through November 1, 2016.

Sept. 27: Session 1 – experiment with levers and pulleys.

October 4: Session 2 – experiment with inclined planes and work

October 11: Session 3 – experiment with the relationship between amount of force and how far the object moves

October 18: Session 4 – experiment with constant force and motion.

October 25: Session 5 – experiment with launching 2-liter bottles of water.

November 1: Session 6 – experiment with gravity and motion

Ages: 4th grade & up

Fee: $40 for all 6 sessions
