The Museum of Arts and Sciences (MAS) and presenting sponsor, Geico, are excited to announce the arrival of Reptile Rendezvous. This year’s event will highlight the cold-blooded inhabitants of our planet. The hope is to educate visitors, young and old, about what these scaly friends do to help make our world an amazing place to live. The MAS’s goal remains constant and steadfast; to tirelessly educate until the phrase, “Any good snake is a dead snake,” changes into, “Reptiles are vital to our existence”.

The MAS will be hosting several organizations and specialists along with a large variety of reptiles and amphibians. They include:

  • Animal Planet‘s very own Jason Clark (aka “The Big Boa”), owner of the Southeastern Reptile Rescue and the host of “SnakesKin,” will entertain and educate with his reptile show at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. He will also have a table display in the lobby with snakes to touch and hold.
  • Dauset Trails Nature Center
  • The famous Geico Gecko

The Museum is offering many other unique activities and sources of entertainment for guests such as crafts, games, giveaways, a raffle and slithery snacks at the “Snake Snack Shack”. ‘Reptile Rendezvous’ events are included with standard museum admission.

Special Thanks to this year’s Presenting Sponsor!
