Planet Extravaganza

October 16, 2020 @ 10:30 pm - October 17, 2020 @ 1:00 am

Join the Museum of Arts and Sciences for a special planetarium show and telescope event to celebrate the appearance of the three most exciting planets in the sky: Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter. First, we will look at these planets in outer space in the Mark Smith Planetarium. We will then move to the Planetarium roof to look at these three spectacular planets up close through the telescopes!

Age Limit: Because we will be viewing from the roof of the planetarium, we are limiting attendance to those who are age 12 and over. Attendees of all ages should be ready to accept instructions from museum staff with good humor.

High Heels: The planetarium’s roof is made of soft asphalt. No high heels on the roof, please.

We will limit this event to 35 people. Masks are required.

The museum’s front doors will open at 6:30.

Planetarium show at 7 p.m.

Sky viewing begins at 7:45 p.m.
