Nature Explorers: Pollinators

Have you ever been on a bird walk? Or done pond dipping to learn about invertebrates who live in the water? Nature Explorers is an exciting new partnership with the Georgia Extension Service that will allow families to experience new things to learn about the outdoors! Learn all about pollinators in August and celebrate World Honeybee Day with us! Activities will run 10:30 AM-2:30 PM.

Special Programs:

10:30 AM-2:30 PM: Craft activity in the Discovery House

10:30 AM-2:30 PM: Chat with Local Bee Keeper, Terry Moore

11:00-11:30 AM: Lemurs and Bats as Pollinators Presentation

12:30-1:00 PM: Lunch with a Scientist: Citizen Science Pollinator Census with Karol Kelly

1:00-1:30 PM: Citizen Science Pollinator Census with Karol Kelly
