Nature Explorers: Bird Walks

Have you ever been on a bird walk? Or done pond dipping to learn about invertebrates who live in the water? Nature Explorers is an exciting new partnership with the Georgia Extension Service that will allow families to experience new things to learn about the outdoors!

Nature Explorers activities are FREE for MAS Members, and included with regular museum admission for non-members.

Go on bird walks in October with Dr. James Ferrari (Wesleyan College) and learn all about native Georgia birds with Amy Alderman (Audubon Society). See the schedule of activities below!

Schedule of Activities:
10:30 AM-2:30 PM (Pavilion): Bird Crafts
10:30 AM-2:30 PM (Bird Window in Basement of Discovery House): Bird Watching with Amy Alderman (Audubon Society)
11:00 AM-11:30 AM (Meet in Pavilion): Bird Walks with Dr. Ferrari (Wesleyan College)
1:30 PM-2:00 PM (Meet in Pavilion): Bird Walks with Dr. Ferrari (Wesleyan College)
