The Museum is excited to offer new outreach programming exclusively for the summer time! We are offering these programs Tuesdays-Fridays starting on May 26th and ending on August 7th. These outreaches are ideal for libraries, rec centers, and summer camps. You can choose from our Wildlife and STEAM Outreach options below. Program Options
Survival Skills
During this Wildlife Outreach, you will meet three of our animals while learning about their unique characteristics, native habitat, and how they survive in the wild.
The Science of Music
During this STEAM Outreach, we will get to learn about soundwaves while creating our very own song! We will review how soundwaves travel, the different functions of sound in music, and perform our newly written musical piece!
The Color of Nature
During this STEAM Outreach, we will each create our own paper leaf while learning about the science behind color, light, and how each affects the nature around us.
Animals Past and Present
During this combination of Wildlife and STEAM Outreach, you will explore the importance of fossils through understanding the past and meet an animal from the present.
