Homeschool Field Trip Day- To Infinity

During this field trip families will explore our new traveling exhibit from NASA, Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe, and other out of this world programming!
Create your own experience from our program choices below. Spots are first come, first serve. Check-in begins at 9:45 in the Museum lobby. Once checked-in you will receive a bracelet indicating your admission to all programs for the day.

Program Descriptions:
“Origami – A Folding Telescope?!” – During this STEAM activity you will explore the workings of the James Webb Telescope and the art of origami.
Recommended for grades K-12th with program options for K-5th and 6th-12th.
“Travel to Hubble” – During this planetarium show you will visit the Hubble Telescope in space to investigate a strange mystery happening on the Sun.
Recommended for grades K-5th.
“The Incredible Telescope” – During this planetarium show you will discover the history of the telescope from Galileo to the Hubble Telescope and beyond.
Recommended for grades 6th-12th.
“Earth in Space” – During this Science on a Sphere program you will learn about the relationship between the Earth, moon, and sun, and how this relationship causes phenomena such as day and night and seasons.
Recommended for grades 3rd-12th with program options for 3rd-5th and 6th-12th.
