Martina Henderson captures stunning details of the natural world through high-resolution photography printed on paper and deckled by hand. Abandoned nests, eggs, feathers, and seashells are among the many natural curiosities included in this body of work. Educated at Florida State University, with advanced and continuing education at Portfolio Center in Atlanta and The International Center of Photography in NYC, Henderson is an artist with broad interests and experiences. A former art director at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York, she gave up life in the big city in 1996 and heeded the calls of beauty, nature, and independence back in the South.
