Fuji by Studio Lemercier in partnership with Wonderspaces opened today! Fuji is a 14 minute audiovisual installation which is part of Lemercier’s volcano series. It combines a large-scale, hand drawn landscape depiction of Fujiyama, augmented by a layer of projected light. Joanie Lemercier climbed Fujiyama before creating this project, describing the mountain as: “…an intangible monument to the glory of nature.”

Visuals by Joanie Lemercier, music by Paul Jebanasam, and production by Juliette Bibasse. On view in Burgess Gallery from October 31, 2025 through February 28, 2026.
