Art of Science: Anatomy and Art

The Museum of Arts and Sciences is kicking off a BRAND NEW Lecture Performance Series this summer titled “The Art of Science”!
Come learn about the Sciences through Art! You might find they rely on each other more than you thought! This series is for all ages, but is specifically for our life-long learners who want to learn something new this summer!
Join us to learn about Anatomy with Art Historian and MAS Employee, Lauryn Dawson! Discover the shared history of anatomy and art while studying multiple different pieces, namely from the Renaissance Period. You will not want to miss this program on June 17th at 7 p.m.!
The following program is the Sounds of Appalachia! You will not want to miss all the exciting happenings at the Museum this summer, so be sure to check the Events page on the Museum’s website and keep up with us on social media for more information!
This event is included in the Museum’s General Admission Ticket or will be $5 at the door. It is also FREE for Museum Members!
