Saguinus geoffroyi
Geoffroy’s Tamarin is a monkey, not an ape. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the tails. Monkeys have tails, but apes do not. While these monkeys have tails, they are non-prehensile, meaning they cannot grasp anything. The tails are instead used for balance and leaping among the forest sub-canopy.
