STEAM Spectacular

School has begun and the Museum of Arts and Sciences is here to inspire visitors of all ages to continue to learn and grow through the art of inter-disciplinary learning! On Saturday, September 5th from 10-4, come explore the marvelous world of science inspired art, the creative minds of engineers, the artistry of animals, and SO MUCH MORE! Join us in highlighting the importance of communication between disciplines and create some art of your own!

This Family Day event will feature hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities, plus exciting vendor partners bringing interactive experiences for people of all ages! Join Macon Little Theatre’s Family Series in the Museum of Arts & Sciences Amphitheater on Saturday, September 5th for The Percy Jackson Experience. This free admission, 30-minute stage show will perform three times as part of the Museum’s STEAM Event. The amphitheater show will feature a cast of 17 on stage followed by actor encounter adventures around the performance space with additional appearances by characters from MLT’s upcoming production of Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief.
