The Museum of Arts and Sciences is kicking off a BRAND NEW Lecture Performance Series this summer titled “The Art of Science”! Come learn about the Sciences through Art! You might find they rely on each other more than you thought! This series is for all ages, but is specifically for our life-long learners who want to learn something new this summer!
In part one of this program on August 19, you will learn all about the musical traditions of Appalachia. During the second part on September 2nd, our STEAM Curator, Xandrya Edwards will focus on the singing traditions of Appalachia and will teach the audience how to read Shape Note Music! You will not want to miss this program on September 2nd at 7 p.m.!

This event is included in the Museum’s General Admission Ticket or will be $5 at the door. It is also FREE for Museum Members!
